Dear B-

Love isn’t easy. It takes a lot of work. It’s not always sunshine and smiles. Sometimes it hurts… sometimes it’s not perfect. 

But it’s so worth it. 

The good moments far outweigh the bad.

Happy tears are more frequent than the sad ones.

Sure, we’ve fought a lot.       

But we’ve also fought through a lot. 

I’ve learned that I’d rather fight with you every single day than be without you.

And we’ve laughed, and cried, and we have so many wonderful memories to cancel out the rest. 

We’ve worked through more in our five years of dating than a lot of people do in a lifetime.

I love you so much, I can’t wait to spend my whole life with you. But I’m also going to work on making every day count… not just hoping for the future.
